With the help of our local community and our providers, RHA is equipped to provide holistic, trauma-informed, and ethical care to vulnerable individuals. Explore how we support the refugees and migrants of Tijuana and Reynosa.

General Medical and Pediatric Care

Providing medical care to vulnerable patients at the US-Mexico border, and offering in-person and telephonic support at over 30 shelters.

LGBTQIA_Care.jpg

LGBTQIA+ Care

With funding from the Transgender Law Center, providing medical care, medical-legal services, and mental health services to the LGBTQIA+ community. We are also serving LGBTQIA+ migrants at 4 LGBTQ-centered shelters.

Mental Health Care

Providing trauma-informed mental health consults to patients at migrant shelters and our private consultation space and remote support through our mental health line

Prenatal and Midwifery Care

Supporting mothers and their newborn infants at one of our clinics Justicia en Salud. This program is run by midwife Ximena Rojas.

Accupuncture_Naturopathy.JPG

Accupuncture and Naturopathy

Partnered with Acupuncturists Without Borders and naturopaths in Mexico and the US, we are providing acupuncture and natural medicine to our patients in conjunction with medical services.

Dentistry

Partnering with local dentists to provide dental care at no cost to the patient. Through a referral system, patients are able to access emergency dental care and treatment.

Working with local clinicians and the community to set advocacy objectives and engage in community-based participatory research.

Providing independent medical-legal evaluations to asylum seekers and refugees. Free of charge for individuals in Mexico or detention centers in the United States.
