WHO WE ARE
Our Clinics
We currently assist in the provision of medical care for over 30 shelters and at our four clinics: Resistencia en Salud, Justicia en Salud, and Paz en Salud in Tijuana, MX and Casa de Revolucion in Reynosa, MX. We also operate a hygiene station called Dignidad en Salud in Tijuana.
Justicia en Salud
Justicia en Salud provides care for mothers and their newborns free of charge. Through the work of our compassionate midwives and volunteers, our clinic provides prenatal care, delivery care, postpartum care, healthy newborn care, and pregnancy loss and termination support. We also provide natural medicine and fertility remedies.
Resistencia en Salud
Resistencia en Salud provides free, first-class medical care with open arms. At our clinic, our nurses, clinicians, and volunteers value the importance of collaboration to serve the needs of our patients. We carry out all of our services with an intercultural and trauma-informed approach.
Dignidad en Salud
Dignidad en Salud aims to address the social determinants of health. It houses our hygiene station, where our community is able to freely access clean water, restrooms, and showers, laundry machines, and donated clothing, food, and supplies.
Paz en Salud
RHA provides mental health and psychosocial support to hundreds of migrants and refugees a month through its Paz en Salud program. We provide psychosocial groups in shelters to help migrants by covering topics such as skills to cope with stress, children’s emotion regulation, parenting, and LGBTQ topics. We use a trauma-informed integrated care approach where other health providers refer migrants for individual care to our therapists, and psychiatrists. We also have social workers that link migrants and refugees to much needed resources like shelter, food, clothes, and other needs.
Casa de Revolucion
Casa de Revolucion provides general medical care in Reynosa. MX through our out-patient clinic in Reynosa and our shelter outreach efforts to thousands of migrants living at shelters and encampments at the Rio Grande.
